Day 11 - PP - "It's like the British West Wing!"

I'm dreading going to class tomorrow. Normally this isn't the case for me... but as I have done basically nothing in the way of homework in the past week... yea, not so much looking forward to it. Add my epic level of inactivity to the fact that I'm going to have to wake up uber early to take BF to the airport... you have the perfect storm of a bad morning brewing.

My potential homework-doing was further inhibited today by the discovery of a delightful British Dramedy called "The Palace" on Hulu... sadly, it appears to have had a rather short run on British television (only 8 episodes)... so, of course, I felt compelled to watch all 8 episodes today. The show centers around a group of fictitious royals... not unlike the real royals I suppose... and it is sort of similar, in premise, to the West Wing. In fact, when I IMDB'd the show - the creator basically admitted that he liked The West Wing so much that he wanted to create a British version of it. I'm not so sure he succeeded ... but the show was entertaining and I sincerely wished that they had made more than just 8 episodes. Alas...

So, yea... not much happening today.... I'll probably be in a bad/ sad mood tomorrow, just warning everyone. I don't like it when BF leaves... and the fact that he's going to be unreachable by cell (thus rendering him unable to call me and tell me he's landed safely in Taiwan) is going to make me even crankier. *Sigh* Thank God for Skype - that's all I can say.

Diet's going well - still "Cruisin". Weighed myself this morning, no change from the other day - still 141. I guess it's good that I've not GAINED anything.... but I think the stagnation is partly because I've been lax about both my water consumption and the daily walk. Since BF will be gone for the next 9-10 days I'll probably substitute Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred or 6 Week 6 Pack for the walk - our neighborhood isn't UNsafe.... but I'm probably not going to want to go walking by myself. It's all good though, because if anything, Jillian will improve the chances of weight loss - moreso than a walk. And, I enjoy her daily ass-kicking - glutton for punishment that I am.  :)

2 Turkey Hot Dogs w/ spicy mustard
Turkey Lunchmeat
Cottage Cheese
Toasted Coconut Vanilla non-fat yogurt

Dinner:
NY Strip Steak w/ sour cream/ garlic sauce
Cottage Cheese
Hardboiled Egg

Snack:
Earl Grey Tea w/ lemon
