Day 23 - PV - Dinner with Friends

Sorry for the late post all! Got home last night and was so tired that I just couldn't fathom doing anything!

Fairly uneventful day yesterday - BF and I stayed around home for most of the day, poor thing - he's finally starting to feel some jet lag from his 13 hour time switch. We were talking yesterday and have decided to make a morning walk part of our daily routine. I'm expecting that this will start on Monday though... as this weekend is sort of busy for us!

Last night, we had dinner with some friends. We had a great time - good food, good company - but my willpower and resolve was severely tested throughout the course of the evening. I'm very proud to say that - even in the face of Doritos, pasta salad, and S'mores - I did not cheat. Not one unapproved morsel passed my lips. Knowing that we were going to be having hot dogs with all the traditional accompaniments, I even packed myself a nice big salad and ate hot dogs with mustard and no bun. I'm not going to lie and tell you that it wasn't a little sad.... but I felt good nonetheless that I was able to resist all those yummy things. :)

Menu: 
Breakfast:
Oat Bran Porridge
Coconut Pineapple non-fat yogurt
Coffee w/ fixins

Lunch: 
Salmon Filet w/ mushroom sour cream sauce
2 Eggs - sunny-side up
Brussels sprouts

Dinner: 
Romaine Lettuce Salad w/ Shrimp and hard boiled egg
Dukan Balsamic Vinaigrette
hot dogs with mustard and relish
Diet Rite Soda

Snack: 
Chicken lunchmeat
Passion/ Earl Grey tea with sweetener
