What a nice day! Spring finally returned to Chicago - it was a sultry 83 degrees at the peak of the day. Perfect sundress weather! Sadly, I had to spend most of the day inside doing homework - but I did wear a sundress and open the windows and the blinds to take full advantage of the sunlight and warmth.
Despite my reticence towards remaining indoors all day, I was able to get a TON of work done. A fact that I'm quite happy about.... will make going to class tomorrow a much more pleasant experience. Speaking of class, tomorrow is actually my last official class meeting day! Very excited about that! Then it's just finishing up projects and papers and handing things in. FUN.
There is another reason why I'm not exactly dreading tomorrow... tomorrow night is the premiere of The Bachelorette!!! The Bachelor/ Bachelorette franchise is one of my guilty pleasures... I cannot get enough of it... even though the relationships rarely work out in the real world, I love to see the drama... and the cheesy one liners. It's awesome. What makes it even better is that each week I have an online gab-fest with my good friend Kathryn while we both watch in our respective locations (Me in Chicago, her in Minnesota)... its not quite as good as she were here with me drinking Moscato and eating popcorn (neither of which, due to Dukan, I can currently have!) but it's the next best thing!!
Planning on weighing myself tomorrow - hoping to see 139 or 138 ... I've been doing a good job of sticking to the plan and have, thus far, not been too tempted to cheat. Going to the movies and smelling the movie theatre popcorn was about as bad as it has gotten... and I withstood that!! :)
Going to be doing another day of PV tomorrow - it's just easier with class and everything.

Started Attack phase this morning.....fat free cottage cheese is not at the top of my list after today! :-(
ReplyDeleteWelcome Jennifer! Yes, I assure you that through both the attack and cruise phases you will eat your fill of fat-free cottage cheese. For me, it is the mental desire to have a side-dish that forces me to go that direction.... I can't just eat meat BY ITSELF. Something tells me that this is MY problem... not the diet's.... haha...
ReplyDeleteI tried the Beef Stew and the Ravigote Sauce tonight....thumbs down on the stew but the sauce was good. Day 1 down!
ReplyDeleteI'm famous! I made your blog! WOOT! I also look forward to Mondays :)
